Facebook!

AHOY!

No...I am not on a cruise nor going on a cruise...just thought it was more fun than saying 'hi'. :) So...Tonight I was thinking about what to write, not alot is on my mind...quite frankly I am just too tired for anything to be going through my brain. I said a couple days ago...that non-teachers don't understand that most teachers use the school calendar to gage their year...well something else non-teachers don't understand is how tiring the first week of school is. It is exhausting but a good exhausting.

OK...back to my topic tonight...FACEBOOK. I googled "fun blog topics" and this popped up on one of the links "tell how you use facebook". Well...as a self-proclaimed facebook junky...how could I refuse this? SOOOO...here it goes!

I have a couple "uses" for facebook. My first and primary use for it is pure entertainment. I am very entertained by my friends on facebook with their statuses and pictures. Seeing and sharing pictures is probably my single most favorite feature of facebook. I really enjoy being able to look at pictures that people upload!! And in return, as to not be a FBS (facebook stalker, just made that up in my head...YOU'RE WELCOME!) I try to put up some amusing 'statuses' and post pics of fun things like my niece and nephew! :)

I also like to use facebook to get advice. You would be very surprised if you ask a question how much good advice you can get back. You of course must use your personal judgement but people respond and it is wonderful. Kind of like a real live "ask jeeves". HAHAHA!!  In that same catergory I have also sold/given away several things and they went to people I know will not trash it out!  which makes me happy! :)

Not my primary but my favorite use is keeping in touch with those you don't often see. I love dropping sweet "love notes" to people just to let them know I am thinking about them and I care. Life can be to hectic to call and have a full conversation but never to busy to take a second to drop a note! AND to celebrate when people are happy! :)

NOW...a better question is how I DON'T use FB!  I keep away from drama!!!! I don't like it and don't wanna be caught in the middle of it. I also don't make a post looking for sympathy or as my dad calls them "attaboys" when I did something good. Not the place for all that.  I think good deads should go unnoticed....after all isn't the point of a good dead to make someone else feel good...not yourself? just a thought!!
